Record the symptom
How often does the water decrease? Does the problem worsen when the pump is running? In which area does moisture occur? These observations are useful for diagnosis; It does not show a definitive cause on its own. Evaporation, backwashing and overflow can also cause water loss.
Consider below the visible surface
Coating cracks, joint deterioration and structure movement are different problems. Applying new coating does not always solve the underlying cause. When necessary, structural evaluation, insulation detail and installation tests should be carried out together.
Protect working equipment
The condition of the existing pump, filter and panel, as well as its age, and its compatibility with the new scope are important. It should be explained with reasons which part can be preserved and which needs to be replaced. Replacing the entire system is not automatically the best solution.
Plan for business loss
When the pool may be closed, noise and access limitations, supply times, and the possibility of unseen damage are reflected in the schedule. In hotel and housing estate projects, it is especially important to separate the application area from user circulation.
Recommissioning
Renewed lines and equipment are tested; operating flow rates and control functions are verified. Water chemistry and maintenance routine are updated according to new materials. Checking to show that the old fault has been resolved is one of the delivery steps of the renewal.
