Appearance is not enough
Although the lid or body of a robot may look similar, the size, lock and internal structure of the filter cassette may be different. Selecting parts based solely on the generic product name may result in an incorrect order. The manufacturer's parts diagram must contain the code for the exact model of the device.
Check the filtration feature separately
The compatible cassette may have different filter element options. The dirt to be collected and the options offered by the manufacturer are evaluated; A finer filter may not provide the same cleaning range under all operating conditions. The maintenance method and cleaning frequency are determined by the model instruction and the observed dirt load.
Order file
- The exact model and serial number of the robot, if available
- Code of the existing part and photo from different angles
- Position in manufacturer's parts diagram
- Is the piece sold individually or in a set?
Check after use
When a damaged cassette or ill-fitting cover is detected, correct matching should be made instead of forcing the part. Installing the new part does not eliminate other maintenance needs of the robot. Saved codes also speed up the next service call.
