What's underneath the surface?
When selecting the overflow grate, the module size, the clear opening of the channel and the surfaces on which the grate will sit are checked together. The breadth in the product code does not mean that the available channel is compatible in all circumstances. Corner turns and how the last module will be finished are shown in the application detail.
cleaning access
To clean the duct, the grate must be able to be removed using the method described by the manufacturer. The coating adhesive or perimeter finish must not inadvertently fix the detachable part. For heavy or large modules, the method of transportation and maintenance is also evaluated by the operating team.

In renovation projects
If a porcelain product is being considered instead of the existing plastic grid, the channel depth and supports should be measured. Instead of seeing the material change only as a change of the upper part, it is necessary to evaluate the edge system as a whole.
