Separate dosing point from storage
The area where the chemical is stored and the point where the tank connected to the dosing system is located may have different requirements. The product safety data sheet, ventilation and separation of incompatible substances are the basic inputs of the layout. Just fitting a tank into an empty corner is not enough planning.
Keep tags visible
It should be clearly understood which product the tank, suction line and dosing device belong to. It prevents labels from closing during filling or mixing of hoses. Chemical change does not mean that a used tank can be filled with a different product; Compliance is evaluated by the manufacturer and safety instructions.
Add to layout file
- Current safety data sheet and label information of the product
- Compatibility of tank material with the chemical to be used
- Leakage management and access pattern
- Work area to be used by authorized personnel for filling and maintenance
business education
Which personnel will perform which action, the protective equipment to be used and the route to be followed in an extraordinary situation are defined by a written procedure. This plan differs from a general dosage recommendation; It is prepared according to the product used and facility conditions. Different chemicals are not mixed.
