First separate the function of the cover
Pool covers can be designed to reduce evaporation, limit dirt ingress, off-season protection or for safety purposes. These functions can be found on the same product; but the presence of one feature does not prove the other. In particular, the thin thermal cover should not be considered as a surface that can be stepped on.
Security claim requires documentation
For safety purposes, the manufacturer's usage limits, test or conformity information, and installation conditions suitable for the project should be examined for the product to be purchased. The edge connections and opening geometry of the shroud are part of the performance. Just mentioning the safety statement in the product's trade name is not sufficient evaluation.

Daily usage plan
The practical ability to open and close the cover affects its regular use. Don't make the selection based solely on the photo of the closed state; Also see the open space requirement. Covering should not be provided as a substitute for necessary supervision and other security measures.
